At The Alligator Atelier, each creation is thoughtfully crafted in small batches with care, intention, and attention to detail. Because of the handmade and customizable nature of our products, we encourage you to review the policies below before placing your order.

Custom Orders & Personalization

Many of our items are made to order or offer customization options, including colors, scents, gift tags, and themed bundles.

Customization Guidelines:

  • All customization details must be submitted at checkout or within 1 hour of purchase

  • Once an order enters production, changes cannot be guaranteed

  • Color palettes may vary slightly due to the handmade nature of each batch

  • Custom text (including names and monograms) will be printed exactly as provided by the customer. Please double-check spelling

We reserve the right to make minor design adjustments to maintain balance, quality, and the overall aesthetic integrity of each piece while honoring your selected theme.

Processing Time

All orders are prepared with care in small batches.

  • Standard processing time: 3–5 business days

  • Custom or personalized orders: 5–7 business days

  • Peak seasons / holidays: processing times may extend slightly

Processing time refers to preparation before shipment, not delivery time. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has shipped.

Pre-Orders

From time to time, select collections may be offered as pre-orders.

  • Pre-order items are made specifically for you and have extended fulfillment timelines

  • Estimated ship dates are always clearly stated on the product page at the time of purchase

  • If a pre-order is placed with in-stock items, your order may ship together unless otherwise noted

  • Payment is collected at checkout to reserve your item in production

  • Pre-order timelines are estimates and may shift slightly due to handmade production or supply conditions

We will always communicate updates should fulfillment timing change.

Shipping

Orders ship once processing is complete.

  • Shipping times vary based on destination and carrier

  • Tracking information will be provided upon dispatch

  • The Alligator Atelier is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or postal interruptions once an order has left our care

Ingredients & Allergen Information

Petit Gator Play Clay is made in small batches using simple, thoughtfully selected ingredients.

Important Allergen Statement:

  • Our products are nut-friendly (made without peanut or tree nut ingredients)

  • However, our workspace is not a certified allergen-free facility

  • We cannot guarantee the absence of trace exposure from external environments or suppliers

Product Care & Use

  • Designed for sensory play and creative exploration

  • Not intended for consumption

  • Adult supervision recommended. Not recommended for younger children under the age of 3

  • Store in an airtight container to maintain softness

  • If clay begins to dry, a few drops of water will restore texture

Gift Tags & Personalization

Custom gift tags are available with select bundles and may include names, short messages, or occasion notes.

  • All personalization must be entered clearly at checkout

  • The Alligator Atelier is not responsible for errors due to incorrect spelling or submission

  • Digital printable tags are included where specified in product listings

All Sales Final

All sales are final.

Due to the handmade, small-batch, and often customized nature of our products, we do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges.

Each order is carefully inspected prior to shipment to ensure quality and consistency.

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we may review the issue promptly.
